Lessons

It is normal for children in the Netherlands to begin swimming lessons at age four when they start in the school system. Outside of the school environment if you want your child to begin swimming lessons, there are generally long waiting lists. Check with your local sports centre or pool for their programme. In most pools and sports complexes, you can begin swimming lessons from baby, child and adult ages.
